Tracking user logins with NT4

Hi,
Are there any utilities that can report when a user logs on our logouts from a PC/Domain?
The deafult bumph in Event Viewer isn't very practical and we would ideally like to create weekly reports detailing when users logged/out of the network.
Thanks,
Stefan

good luck...
I know in W2K/AD each DC holds the time/date that a user logged on - so you would need to query every DC in the domain and collate this to get a good audit trail..
NT4 I dont know if it has the same feature - youd need to hit technet to find out if it does..
Have you tried Hyena ? this from memory is a superb NT4 domain management tool..

I have a VB program that checks who is and isn't logged into a domain, it could be amended to connect to a DB of usernames, then list the login and logout events (only accurate to about 5 seconds), or it could write to the event log, or.......whatever really......
if you don't get any better offers lemme know..

Thanks I'll have a search for that one.
The standard NT4 Event Viewer tracks every login/logout if auditing is turned on, but I'd like to automate this in someway.
As usual the stuff shipped with NT is cr@p. No automated reporting at all You can run VB scripts, but if you like dealing with raw text
Thanks,
Stefan
