swap domain controller role with backup domain controller ?
We have 2 servers:
Domain controller - Win2k Server on old hardware
Backup domain controller - Win2k3 Server running on new hardware
I want to swap roles - what's the best way to do this ?
I've already moved the public folder over to the new hardware and it's all up and running fine. When users login in, they're mapped to the new location.
The domain controller handles DHCP and DNS, which I can happily setup on the BDC, but I'm wondering at what stage I'd do this during the swap over of roles ?
