Gmail or iphone push problems anyone?
My iphone isn't getting gmail from push currently and trying to establish if it is gmail's push service not working.
Enabled pop3 accounts on my iphone and they all worked fine. Tried changing some of the imap settings on the iphone just to see if it would force a refresh and kick it in to life but nothing.
Anyone else having any gmail issues?
Edit to add all working now after rebooting the iphone Would have deleted the thread but can't delete

There certainly is. Open up Gmail in web browser and go to Gmail settings and then help and you can get the config there for all the supported clients. I get Gmail to pull mail from all my hotmail accounts and so have all my mail in one place and only have to read it once.

Gmail on the iPhone using Exchange Server. Syncs your contacts and calendar as well.

Hmm I've tried to configure this a few times now, but each time I'm told the password is wrong.
I've followed the instructions as per that google sync link that Jack has posted.
I think I'm going back to my old 'fetch every 15 minutes' method which although not instant, at least worked

That is the same link I used and worked first time with out issue. The other day when I posted this there was definitely something going on with gmail as after doing the reboot it was messing around again. The next day everything was back to normal working fine.

I don't see what I could have done wrong with the configuring. I've been through it four times now being extra careful to type everything correctly.
Maybe I'll give it a go in a few hours.
