Hello
I am looking for some software that will help me map out the floor plan of a house.
As an added extra if it could then render it that would be cool!
Any suggestions?

There are a number of them in 'PC World' (I don't believe I just said that) that look OKish...
I'm assuming that your not up to spending megadosh on AutoCAD ...If you have Visio on your work machine that will make a reasonable stab at it..

And on a similar note, is there anything that people can recommend to help me plan out the rooms in my house? About to start on decorating in the next week but I've no idea on colours etc!

I've just downloaded FloorPlan 3D, and it looks okay.
I would quite like to create movies of walking through the house, but it doesn't seem to be able to do that.
