DVD player packed up, so i have been using my laptop connected to my tv via the Yellow s-video option and sound via the red/white port options on the telly,all good.

now,my yellow port on my dock has packed in,so was wondering if i could buy this 6FT DVI-I to 3 RCA Component RGB Cable For Laptop HD TV on eBay (end time 07-Sep-09 21:07:21 BST)

to watch via component (yellow video, red/white for sound)

even tho these are RGB colours,same principal ?
