Problems burning a DVD - Help wanted
I am running XP.
I have downloaded a Torrent file (a TV programme) and burnt it on a DVD. The original download file plays perfectly on my PC but the DVD has the sound out of sync by a couple of seconds and the picture aspect has gone from 16:9 to 4:3 (I think )
To burn it, I found the file in "Downloads" and simple highlighted it and followed the "Burn" option at the top of the screen.
It took at least 2 hours to burn (it is a 2 hour programme) and the result is, to say the least, very frustrating . Have I done something stupid (very likely in my case)
Any advice would be appreciated.

Firstly try mounting or running the original file on your computer. If the sound/sync etc is still up the creek, then you've got a dodgy torrent - get another.
To run the disk image, you might need to find something like Nero (which is better for burning stuff anyway - Windoze is sh1te)

To play the disc on your Home dvd player
u need to convert it first
download convertXtodvd program (this will convert it and burn it to disk)
as for the sync problem it sometimes fixes that 2
