I am currently looking for my first laptop and i wouild like a good all round machine. I would like it have windows vista preminum so i can upgrade to windows 7 for free. I would like min 3gb ram and not much else really. I will be using it for a bit of everything. I don't want something to heavy as i will be using in my car a lot.

I like the thought of blueray but do you need it ?
I also like the thought of hdmi out but once again would i use it a lot ?

I have seen these 2 what do you think.

I really dont want to spend any more than £480 and i would like to spend about £400 or even less.

What are you thoughts ? The top ones does seem to have more toys.
