I need a new laptop/netbook
Just wondered if there were any real bargain buys out there at the mo. Will mostly be used for surfing and doing some webdesign stuff, so nothing too demanding.
The cheaper the better, lol.

Im wondering whether i could live with a small screen, is 8.9in really small?
Ive just found this which looks quite decent spec for the money >>> EXDISPLAY Acer Aspire One A150 Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz, 1GB RAM 120GB HDD,8.9" Webcam, Blue, Linux Linpus Lite - Ebuyer

I used the acer A150 today and its probably a bit small for me. Will probably need to be 10"+ screen, but ive noticed the resolution on some are lower than others.
Think im gonna need to do a bit more homework on it.
Any more suggestions welcome.

Old CPU technology. Seems Tesco must be doing a favour to Intel and selling off all their old inventory. Just like PC World. Go look at Processor Ratings - Intel The T3400 is "Dependable and proven" ...

It could well be quick enough for you but I'd go for something with the 'Core 2' moniker if you need a laptop now. Or, to get bang up to date, wait for the i5 to turn up.
