I logged into my hotmail email this morning and I had received an email at 11pm the night before. However, my blackberry hadn't told me this. A couple of hours later I sent an email from my blackberry to my works email with 'test'. following this my blackberry beeped and 3 emails came flying in. Can anyone help please as I used to get emails on my blackberry as soon as they were sent.

No I never turn it off.

BIS is probably having problems then. the only thing i can think of.

Hotmail often has delays on BIS- really annoying TBH and no amount of deleting the account and re-adding it seems to cure it.

I get around it by setting my hotmail to forward to my @blackberry email address, that way they come through instantly... set your @blackberry reply to field as your hotmail one and it gets around it in a way
