Thats a bit of a broad query (sorry - to much SQL today!!) .... you need to say what type of add-on your looking for and what it needs to do!!! Then i'll have a think.
Note there are licencing issues about using some stuff and actually distributing it within an app!!

do a search on google or something for "freeware ocx",
But you can get controls to do a million and one things, scheduling, reading barcodes, even milking cows! And chances are that the author won't put the time in for nothing.....
