Can anyone recommend a good graphics program for 'basic' stuff, like quality re-sizing, removing red eye, then maybe some other useful stuff.

Have been using Paint Shop Pro but need to upgrade it to get the red eye stuff etc,so was thinking of checking alternatives.

cheers,

greg

Adobe Photoshop is excellent.
Paint Shop Pro is also good, so get the upgrade!

Here's a better idea. You could download the trial and, if you like it, pay for it?

FFS, quite a few people on here work in IT and this sort of sh1te depresses me.

Download Linux and run the Gimp if you want a cracking free package.

Sunday Times has recommended Adobe Paintshop Elements for £69.99 so I will try the 30 day trial of that, and compare it to PSP.

cheers!

For a graphics program, Adobe photoshop is the top dog.

If your looking to resize, a good program is Thumbnailer. Have a look on download.com for it. Can resize a whole folder automatically.

Graphic convertor is pretty good.

guess some of the stuff that comes with high end cameras might be quite good.

If you're using a mac then you could try the new iPhoto software, think that it might have red eye stuff in it. need to grab a copy myself and have a look.
