Default anti virus program removal help please

whiles looking at a post on here i got a pop up saying i was getting attacked by trojans and to download a program i did it and now it wont go away. I have norton and another antivirus and they say everything is ok. The icon for the program sits on the bottom right of the toolbar and keeps blocking me from going online. I have looked through programs to remove it but cant see it. All it wants me to do is sign up to this antivirus. I have a laptop with vista. Does anybody know how i can delete it so i can get back online. Thanks and sorry is this dont make sense but am having to do it on my mobile.

As you can guess the error was in downloading that program.

Try downloading this and run a full scan.

Malwarebytes.org

You may need to boot in safe mode to allow you to do anything on your PC.

You need superantispyware and malwarebytes. I presume it's Antivirus2009 you have installed. It's a b*tch to get rid of

Yup, certainly is, I tried Malaware Bytes on mine but it didn't completely remove all the ****, best off saving anthing you want to keep to dvd then doing a complete format and reinstallation of Windows.

SaS got rid of it when I was presented with an infested laptop. There is an alternate install as afaik the malware disables running the published executables.
