Windows 2000 log on password

Have a PC running Win2000.
The chap who uses it has just died and no one knows the log on password.
Any help much appreciated.
Cant wipe it as loads of payroll info on there etc !

Presuming that it's just the data stored on the system you require, whip the HDD out & stick it as a slave/secondary drive in another PC running the same file system & OS (NTFS/Fat32).
This will then appear as another drive on that machine & you should be able to copy the information off
Either that or try GUEST with no password

Sorry to hear about the loss
If you're feeling brave, try this util Admin Password
It'll reset the Administrator password. If you prefer the much safer route, then do as Puff suggests.
