My new laptop has a fingerprint reader. Can I do anything cool with it?

I use my fingerprint reader to log into my computer or when I lock it when I leave my desk. I've not found many more uses I'm afraid.

It's a bit of a gimmick at the moment, I'd like to be able to use it instead of the Run As command as I have to run quite a few things as a Domain Admin on our network and have to keep entering my username and password which slows me down

How do you configure it to help you log in? Mine doesn't seem to do anything!

I had to install a program called Security by Wave Systems on my Dell laptop. You then scan your finger prints and register them to a certain user account\profile.

After you have scanned and registered your finger prints, change the settings to allow it to accept your finger prints. Whilst you are setting it up, make sure you retain the ability to enter a password or scan your finger print. Once you are happy the scanner is working, then turn off the password ability if you choose.

My laptop came with Protector Suite QL preinstalled, I can use it to log on and also for passwords and logins on certain websites, not sure if it does anything else.
