I wouldn't dream of doing it but is there a way (delete registry entries....) to re-install my anti virus software so that I've got another year of virus definition updates? Norton 2002

I doubt it, as your "registration" details are held on the Symantec servers, so the only way to get "free" updates would be to impersonate someone else - but i am sure that they would then notice the double-downloads.

FFS, its less than a tenner for a year!!!!! Pay the money
