Cool

Stick a modem in your PC & run it out via your extension

Use PCAnywhere or simillar to takeover some else's PC & connect from there (helps if they're not using it at the time )

Just bung a modem in your PC and dial up, however work might notice the phone calls to one number all the time!

Also you may find that by doing this you are in breach of your IT policy, because you are bypassing the firewall, i know we take that seriously.

Even worse if you leave the modem on auto-answer with the speaker turned off.

There used to be anonymous proxy sites, but I think they're all gone now. The best thing to do would be to either use ssh to your PC at home (if you've got broadband) or to a unix shell account at a friendly ISP. Failing that you could always protocol tunnel.

Hi Rich

As I said last night, ( right before I was abused for being nerd )
You could try using an anonymous proxy blocker. As Carl said most of them have gone but you could try

www.anonymizer.com

Only problem is, it will be obvious to anyone with an ounce of knowledge in your IT dept what you are up to.

Give it a try

Berry
