That is very impressive (although I can't get the actual program to run).

I used to like all the demo's on the Amiga / Atari ST.

I couldn't get the demo to run either - though I did read that it goes to a black screen for a good few minutes first displaying an image.

stunning !!

runs fine on my system, albeit after an initial pause while it sets up it's data structures

I'm sorry to be ignorant, but what is it?

watched the youtube vid, and its a vid of a snowy landscape and some sort of light show in the sky. On teh webpage link I get a link to the youtube vid, but no text!

It is just a demo of the landscape and music being generated. The impressive bit is that it is written in just 4K. Your computer probably has 2097152 k (2gb) of memory and the art of compressed programming has died these days.

They can be lazy thanks to the evolution of the storage medium though.
Some of the stuff people wrote on the Amiga is still impressive today.

ahh, so the landscape and music isn't 'saved' like that, it is generated each time - by the code.

I s'pose that really is quite clever
