Games I'm looking forward to
Following on from the other thread about where the good games have gone, these are the upcoming titles that I'm looking forward to at least trying. (On PS3)

I saw that and couldn't believe they're advertising TW2010 already, it's like easter eggs in the shops on Boxing day
BTW does TW still uses the joystick for the swing ? I never could get the hang of that and much preferred the old power bar set up.
Lastly anyone recomend me anything to replace my Timesplitters as it looks like TS4 has been canned and I want a PS3 replacement, must be 2 person with split screen ??

TW10 is released 16/6 in the US
I rented 09 and it was the first time I'd used the stick other than on PSP and I thought it was much better than it used to be, a couple of holes and it was fine. (I think you could choose the 2click/3click methods as well.

Was in the games shop today trading in some old games
Far Cry 2 = gash
FEAR 2 = got bored with it to be honest, same drab old GFX constantly
The Darkness = bought this last week for a fiver, thought it was cool until i went to the underworld bit and then spent far to long walking about in the dark not knowing WTF i was supposed to be doing, so i binned it
nothing on the game shop shelves that really tickled my fancy
although they were taking pre orders for ghostbusters and had the box art on the shelf!
picked up a copy of Tomb Raider Underworld, but just read online its a 7 hours long game, so i expect that's due for trade in next week,
started getting back into Gears 2 multiplayer as the last update really seamed to sort most of the crap multiplayer out.

I'd been looking forward to WSC Real 09, traded a couple of things for it on friday.
Jeez - it's pish.
Numerous minor flaws add up to a very poor experience indeed. Should have been a fiver on PSN, not full price retail.

To be honest, i am still playing the hell out of Resident Evil 5 
3rd play through completed today and i unlocked some new baddass weapons
me and a mate spent the rest of the afternoon doing co-op mercenaries mode, and managed to unlock most of the maps
it was awesome, especially when we got ambushed in this little corridor by about 10 lickers my mate is screaming down the headset "USE THE FOOKEN HERBS" pmsl
