Source off replacment icon package for xp ??

Source off replacment icon package for xp ??
Anyone able to suggest a nice reliable easy to use source off replacment xp icons for my pc ?? recently d/loaded a nice desktop wallpaper , dark background with a nice black ferrari as the centre piece !!
anyway thinking about all bright racing red or yellow icons, is there anywhere where I could download such a set without having to install a dodgy installation package along with it as you would with some off the xp to vista packages, bit confused if icon packs actually convert every icon within your pc or just the actual windowe ones themselves ie. my documents / my computer / recycle bin etc and anything else d/loaded with the icon showing on screen stays the same - anyone able to advise ??
