I'd presume it to be from the Dell 'Factory Outlet'?

Yes it was the Dell factory outlet. I have kept an eye on it for the last two/three days waiting for a real bargain. A mate of mine who works in IT told me to try the factory outlet and be patient, he was right (for once).
Figure is plus VAT and del which takes it to around £ 720.00.

Paul,
Just had a look at the DELL site using your link and can't find anything remotely near that price. What it a one off, or do you get some additional discount?
(Apologises if I suddenly been hit by Muppetism!!)

Have a look at the Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Range. Top quality for very low prices. Apparently FSC laptops are statistically 3 times as reliable as any of the competition
You can get them from Dabs.

Captain
The Factory Outlet constantly updates, it is a case of keepiing a closse eye on it, i have seen P900 celeron Laptops going for £ 506.00, with 128mb ram.
I have had the time as i am now self employed!
Happy hunting!
Prices + VAT and delivery
Paul
Not an ad for Dell, just could not get over the price, In the events business i can 'hire' my laptop out just running Powerpoint on events for £ 100.00-150.00 per day so it should pay for itself in no-time all.
BTW
I am after a cheap B+W printer + external CD-RW any ideas on what to go for and prices?
many thanks
