I would like to set-up a wireless network in my parents house so that I can use my dads Canon IP4500 A4 printer and also an A3 colour printer he is hoping to get soon. Reason that I want to do this is that I want be able to print out colour photographs (that I have taken) for camera competitions which I am going to start this year straight from my mac, without saving the image onto a USB flash drive and taken it to the PC to print.
My dads study is next to my room where he has his Dell desktop PC, printer and scanner connected directly to his PC. This is then wirelessly connected to the white BT home up (although not for much longer). Then there is me on my iMac which just connected through Airport to the same BT hub. The BT hub is down stairs.
So if I wanted to this, what would I need and how would I set it up.
Many thanks

So, I'm assuming you can see the PC with the printer attached? Just set up a network printer on your PC (doesn't matter whether Mac/PC/Linux) that points to the PC with the printer on. Then you just need the main PC (and printer!) turned on when you want to print.
Some routers will even accept a printer connected directly so then you would just need the router/printer switched on and working.
