Does anyone know of any Proxy server addresses i could use that is not going to get me into trouble.
Having probs accesing some sites from my Ntl cable modem.
But using a proxy address fixes it but having trouble finding one that is off a decent speed

Are these sites very seedy ???

The only problems I have with the NTL transparent proxies is cached data. You can get round this by slapping a "?" at the end of the url. But it sounds like you are trying to access vvvvvvery dodgy sites

Try Surfola.com or The-cloak.com in stealth (ssl) mode. both can be slow at times. If you find a quick site please post it.

No i don't want to visit any dodgy sites.
Its only Tesco web site that i cannot access through my isp .Must be how its routed in my local area ???

I use this site every time:

They have the "Proxy Speed Rating" which is usually pretty good, although you can also take all of the "(A)" and "(B)" proxies and put them into Multiproxy or the like, and get them ranked there, I usually do that and then find a local proxy (NZ). That way my ISP lets me d/l (cable) 10X the amount of data per month!
(and no, nothing too dodgy here!)
