Post wired + wireless

Hi all, have linksys AG241, now want to add wireless, done a search and think linksys WAP54g is what I now need to add the wireless part, just looking for some feedback on this, i.e. will I run into any probs etc, before I order it.

cheers

Yeah that would work (connect them physically via network cable) but it may be just as cheap to buy a router that comes with wireless and you are only running one network item instead of two network items.

You could however place the access point in a different place to the router which may or may not be of benefit though, really depends on your setup, features that you need etc

That would work but, as above, you'll probably find a new router/modem with wireless will be almost as cheap especially if you buy it off of eBay.

I have a Netgear DG834N that I was going to sell but it is only £30 new now!

Cheers,
I did have a netgear one before but it died and nothing would revive it, so went wired as that was ok at the time, but have just got a new netbook so I thought add the wireless separatly so it it could be switched on/off,leaving the cable part live all the time.
