Default Hopefully a simple question for the residents in here?

Just got a new Laptop with Vista. 1st time I've used vista!

Plugged the DSL modem in and it detected it, no probs, but for some reason I then uninstalled it as prompted by my fecking pipex startup disk.

Now when I plug the modem in it doesn't automatically see it and load it, it asks for the disk that I promptly point it to, and nothing.

So now I've gone onto the modem website, dowloaded the driver for vista onto a stick but its for use in Oz and NZ, and it doesn't give the UK settings for VPI, VCI, and type of encapulation. Can anyone tell me the numbers / settings?

Yes i'll be going Wifi soon but this was supposed to be a simple stop gap whilst I switch from Pipex to SKY broadband.

Help!

Many thanks, I'd also been using PPoE as the protocol!
