How high up on the leaderboard is that mate? I assume that's your score? I bet I couldn't get under 50 seconds! I'll have a go later.

Copied Forza onto the hard drive last night, 5.9gb. It loads quite a bit faster now especially when resetting a time trial mid race after crashing out.

Me too, I was surprised that it took up less space than PES09!
I'm up for that challenge (and not get anywhere near it )

I ended up getting a 37 second time which I was chuffed with, but used an R1 Nowhere bloody near that now!

Have you actually got 39.750 with an S class car? I've just scrolled through the league table for the S class and there's only MikevolucioN, Rizla Racing and THE NICK QC with that time I was going to try and race against your ghost.

I'm currently a whole 3 seconds off target

Hmm I can't get under 40 seconds with my S Class Scooby and I'd have thought on the tight twisty circuit like Tsukuba it would reign supreme!

Will try again tomorrow though

Gah I give up. I can't go faster than a 40.330, even with tweaking suspension and stuff (which has made me go slower! )
I think a perfect lap would see me just under 40s but I wouldn't get close to 39.750.

Great challenge though!

That time is a stinker

I'll gift you a copy of the car I did it in when I get home. TBH I don't think I could get close to it now after 8 months off the game

Im sure RB5 will agree. Most of it is the car, if you have a well tuned car it makes it alot easier. Im not the best driver by a long way, but in the right car i dont do to bad.

Do you actually tune the car or just upgrade it? I've never tinkered with the tuning settings. Is there a guide on what's the best setup anywhere?

The guys at turn 10 say that the cars are 85% - 90% tuned but will need the suspension settings changed to get to the top of the cars performance.

it's easy after a bit of searching on the forza forums. I used an idiots guide when I first started. It went through each area of the car and helped you set it up.

eg camber ..... check the tyre temperature spread and adjust until it's almost even.

Really simple but it sorts the car's out a fair bit.

Im sure theres a website you can use to calculate suspension setups. You enter the cars weight and power IIRC and it tells you what adjustments to make.
