Asta la Vista - Launch Day Console!

It has served me well, but after completing the latest update it has given me the RRoD.

After looking on the net, it suggests others are having the same problem..... just as well mine is JUST in warranty still for the 3yr boogie.

Not to worry.... I still have another one downstairs, so just going to try updating that one now.

roflol @ chrisowe - I think I was one of the few left.

Just updating the other 360 and that seems much better.

Can't update my machine for two weeks yet due to being offshore

I thought the update was just after 3 years from the launch day... so some sceptics have said?

That's what I read, but went on-line with XBOX and it's covered. Apparantly the warranty date goes from 20th December 2005. However it was bought on the first day of release, which was sometime in November 2005. Not moaning though.

Updated my launchday fine, but have brought an Elite today just incase.
