hi all i live in hull and can only get crappy karoo broadband which is totally useless .(us hullians are unable to have bt or other phone and internet companies )

what i want to know is if i was to get one of them dongle thingy majigs from the likes of vodaphone or whatever could i still play my xbox 360 if i where to connect my 360 through an ethernet cable to the laptop .
if so am i able to play it how much i like or am i limited to how many hours use
