on a long film the audio could go out of sync because of the processor?? try to make different chapters, this might help

could there have been other network congestion?

Maybe try a different film see if that does the same, and maybe think about changing wireless channels assuming you are using wireless

I'd put it down to your wireless if they play okay on the pc, I assume you're not transcoding them in any way during the streaming process??

Could also be the encoding bitrate of the movie. If it's too high then it might struggle over wireless...

I think also if you use transcode 360 you can add a delay in the audio, and you can set it to buffer in advance so if there are any network issues it should hopefully have already buffered
