Can someone advise how to boot into safemode.
I have done f8 and accessed the safemode option, but I get a page of DOS loading drivers then a pause, a quick blue screen then the pc shuts down and restarts in norm mode.

Can you get to Control Panel / System / Advanced (TAB)/ Startup $ Recovery Settings in normal mode?

Have you SP2 installed? if so from the F8 menu disable automatic restart on errors, then post the error code

Have you also tried the Enable VGA mode? on the F8 prompt screen

Yes, but only available for norm mode. I will try to disable auto start in system, as above. Ta.
