Is it safe to put a floppy in the disk drive if it is missing the metal slide that covers the interior?

And if so will I be able to get it out again afterwards!

Don’t worry if you get it wrong I won’t hate you! I’ll just make you buy me a new drive

Wink

Should be safe, and you should be able to get it out.

Just don't spill coffee on it
