Mine was delivered today which Im peed off about as nobody could sign for it so its at the post office, even with the item number and my ID they wont let me collect it when I finish work unless I cycle home and get the red card first which is very inconvienient.

Played the demo and dont think its all that tbh, could be miles better but Im looking forward to the be a legend mode.

Still think last years FIFA is better but lacks the speed of the game. FIFA is more realistic the last 2 years and PES is very arcady.

 

ah, so YOU'RE the demographic that keeps buying FIFA xxxx and PES xxxx each year with the promise of "new features" and "improved gameplay" ?

 

Tried the demos of both, and the first things that struck me was how little the games have changed since the last version I played a couple of years ago. I thought Fifa looked and played slightly better than pes, but I'm not bothering with either unless I see one really cheap somewere (i.e. around a fiver)...

I'll be getting 09 for the 360. Didn't bother with '08 though. Wasn't enough of an improvement over '07. Legend mode looks interesting, altough it cold also be boring as hell!

What's improved then? I couldn't see anything much from the demo.

To play football games on your own v the computer my vote goes for FIFA, to play against friends I think PES is better.

 

Off to play Fifa round a mates this weekend. Always preferred Fifa tbh but like a bit of PES - just annoying that the damn controls are like total opposite so hard to switch between the two.
