Default With apologies in advance lol

I have no idea whatsoever about computers hence my reason for thinking these are probably really stupid questions.
1. My pop-up blocker shows I've blocked 265 items - how do I clear it?
2. The computer clock needs resetting every day and I believe this is down to the CMOS battery which in turn is part of the motherboard. Presumeably this is a job for my local computer shop? Cost?
Thanx

1. Why would you want to clear it?

2. CMOS battery - £1, £2 at the most. Easier than changeing a plug. Side off, pop out battery, in with new one.

If you know what model battery you want, just pop down your local watch shop. Most CMOS batteries are of the button cell type used in watches, clocks, calculators.

If the battery is screwed anyway, pop it out and match it to a new one.
