thank god its not just me then i got signed in then tried to join a game on bad company then it just said network connection error

my lass had just popped out so i dived across the living room put it on and horror no live and now she is back im not allowed on it

Worked fine for me until about 6pm then booted me out of Bad Company had a look on xbox support and they did say there was a problem and they were looking into it.

i was on all day yesterday (8am till around 4.30pm) without issue.

although i could only ever find 3/4 games max of gears of war when searching

managed to get to rank 24 on bad company yesterday as well

Did you get the codes for the extra weapons (if you're bothered that is).

according to xbox support it's up and running but there are difficulties with the 'Video Marketplace'

got a few codes, but to be honest, most of the weapons feel the same to me

usually play as a sniper with the QB gun

i mostly play with the sniper aswell get in a good place and its easy to get 10 in a row in a couple of minutes .

has anyone mastered the apache helicopter yet its hard getting in one there is usually 10 people hanging onto it like an indian bus

The Apache (any helicopter) is fairly easy to use but now most people are wise to that it's quite vulnerable to LMG fire.

yea i dont tend to go out of my way to get in a chopper.

i know some awesome sniping spots that nobody ever checks


got to rank 25 yesterday and was surprised to see it unlocks the "skill levels" of the people you are playing against, no idea what all that is about, i cant see any reason for it

As with Highlander there can only be 1 number 1.
I think it's just to see how well or badly people are doing e.g. a lvl 25 with a skill level of 50 is going to be a pretty bad player and just possibly blundered there way to the top rank.
It does seem to be a bit of ***** waving tbh.
I think i'm skill level 6 although have reached the dizzying heights of 2

Its okay here, except for the fact that when I tried to download the PES demo it made my console freeze constantly.
