Does the original Iphone have edge implemented?

and is there much differance between 2 & 3G?

i have a 3G device, yet my wifes 2G Edge device blows it away for Dl speed.

Also can you bluetooth stream to a headset with the original iphone?

Yes the 2G Does use EDGE. The 3G being slower might be because it's not using 3G and is dropping back to EDGE, though the speed should then be comparable to the 2G Edge device.

The 2G does support bluetooth headsets but I believe it's mono and not stereo.

As far as I'm aware, the 3G's Bluetooth capabilities remain unchanged from the 2G, so in other words, the headset will still be mono and not stereo.
