Help needed as usual

As a birthday present we thought we'd get the MIL onto t'internet

I've not seen her PC for a while now but it's big, grey, has a very big on/off switch and I'm sure it boots from a 720k / 1.44 Floppy. At a guess I'd say it's a 80286 PC/AT Clone LOL

Any Idea's on a simple PC and ISP package to do e-mail, internet etc

I thought about a cheap Dell and Tiscali which I think is about £7 a month.

Yea £200 Dell or sommat, but not Tiscali *spit* chronic ISP. Check the bigger players they all do cheapo packages.

hope your MIL is young and her eye sight is good... coz the webbook screen is small! you might want to checkout o2 broadband (same as bethere). get the o2 payg mobile and get cheaper ADSL rate. oh, and a free ADSL2/2+ router.
