Is it possible to get a uk ip address, we are living in cyprus at the moment and cannot watch bbc i player any help would be usefull.

Not that simple to do, as the BBC are quite hot on who gets it and who doesn't... similarly the normal solution of using a UK based proxy server would mean that the proxy gets hammered with your video, etc. - so not an easy one to crack at all....

However, read this http://www.darkedges.com/bbc/ and see how you get on!

You'll need Firefox and a few other bits, but it apparently works...

Ive used a program called Hide My IP to watch american stuff, although i did have to change my clock to US time, crafty buggers.

I suggested hide my IP to someone else with the same issue on here and they said it worked. The bonues being you dont have the slow down of a proxy.
