Want to get the lad a laptop for xmas, dell are selling them for £369 - looked at the spec and seemed to be ok. Placed it in a 'saved folder' on my account. Went back to it today and its now showing £408 WHF ??
Check the main website and they now sell the Inspration for £349, but it doesnt have a colour lid or truelife and some other stuff.
Its hard enough to choose a spec of a computer, let alone have to deal with a company that change there prices on a daily basis. Spoke to an online agent and they couldnt give a rats **** !!!
I wanted a Dell, but if its going to be as dificult as it is, then I will go for another brand .....

Just spent 20 minutes haggeling with a dell sales bod over a machine which was priced on their site @ £2700 (after an offer which deducted already £600).
Managed to upgrade the tape drive to a 200/400gb one (from a 36/72 DAT) with 12 tapes chucked in for free & Free 4 year warranty for the same price.
I was happy to accept the original server, but thought I'd see how far I could push it. Glad I did.
