I think that my Norton Firewall is stopping my browser (Internet Explorer - not sure the version (6 something)) from accessing the Internet.

Modem goes through the motions of dialling (NTL connection).

Browser 'pretneds' it's building the screen, then after about 20 seconds it comes back with a error (something like 'unable to find page')

Anyone got any ideas?

thanks in advance, Mark.

Click on the NPF incon (greeney globe) at the bottom of the screen. Take Options.PersonalFirewall then the "View Event Log" button.

Hopefully the Firewall tab will tell you what is being blocked!
