pop up box all the time in vista saying the prog has stopped working .... google has lots of answers but none work other than uninstalling the fing thing.

take it this software if for all you iphone owners or is it going to break my ipod support ?

Are you referring to firmware 2.0? The one that gets you onto the App store...

There's 2 versions of it, one for the iPhone and the other for the iPod Touch.

 

I'm pretty sure it's needed for iPods. Could be wrong though.
