Home Cinema - Xbox 360 setup Work in progress
Months after moving into the new house I've got my cinema room up and running. Screen and speakers all looking good I just need to paint and complete furniture now.
Rockband has been taking up all my time when I'm home
Pictures with lights on really hurt the colours on screen. It's a 110" Electric drop. Monitor Audio sub and speakers with an Onkyo 506
very pleased with the results and it's enough to drown out the clacking of the rockband drums

Is that a projector screen? if so where's the projector positioned cause I'd have thought you'd be standing in front of it beating those drums?
*jealous of your setup though *

Projector is well above my head when hacking metallica tracks
The picture is of the first setup and amp I had ( it's an old 505 on loan ) my 506 arrived now. The spec of the amp is way above what I need for this room but it has lots of scope for system upgrade in the future. Cables and setup still need a bit of tweaking to keep it tidy.

I use a similar A/V amp from Sony when I did a similar thing before Christmas. When it first arrived I thought I'll never use half of this stuff (4xToslink, 4xHDMI, plus the usual inputs, etc...)
Since then, I've added my SkyHD, PS3, PC, DAB, and have nearly used the digital stuff up! Well worth the money
Are they your speakers up above in the ceiling ? I use wall mounted flat panel speakers which work a treat. They come with floor mounted subwoofers which i sit either side of the settee (was going to put them INSIDE the settee!)

For £250 the onkyo was well worth the money. I'm sure I'll use up lots of connections in the future.
The speakers are in ceiling x 5 and a single 12" active sub. The sound is amazing compared to what I used before (£65 asda 5.1 kit) the bass when I have it wound up is amazing
