Advise me on PC/Gaming upgrade
I'm looking to upgrade my gaming pc but havent touched gaming pc's for 2 years now.
I'm looking at spending £1.5k on the upgrade, already got a decent case, watercooling setup.

CPUs
On the assumption that you will be looking at CPU's, PCPro magazine June 2008 had a very good article comparing loads and loads of CPUs across AMD and Intel range for PCs, and what those CPUs are good for. Might be worth a look.

surely £250 on an xbox 360 and a dell xps machine should see you good....and youd have change from £750 too.
Then the remaining half of your budget could be used for something a little less geeky

if you are doing self build then head over to Overclockers UK look at their bundles (something like a quad coe Q6600 that can be overclocked loads on air). Let us know what you go for as you can get well under budget
