Decent Spec PC ??
Im looking at possibilities for a new pc and have seen this and I think it looks pretty good

seems ok...not the best for that price though certainly, i jus bought a cheap lenovo pc from ebay, havent got the specs to hand (cant be bothered to check in systems) only cost me a oner. has vista on it too, never had vista before, really impressed with it

No games, as thats what the xbox is for.
Photo and video editing, maybe some CAD work, then the usual internet and office apps plus anything else that takes my interest (maybe some music making stuff too like cubase etc)

not very good price at all, ive just built one for my father in law for £431 inc vat and that included a 20" widescreen tft monitor
what I built was
Intel quad core Q6600
4 GB DDR II @ 800 mhz
Sony NEC dual dvd rewriter (sata)
Onboard 7.1 High def sound (probably the same as what you have seen)
500GB Samsung Sata II HD
20" Widescreen Monitor
Asus Mobo with intel chipset
Gigabyte case (he wanted one that lights up blue like mine he is 64! )
Already had keyboard/mouse etc and he already had his op system
He didnt need a graphics card as I had a 6600gt spare so I gave him that, all he does anyway is office productivity and internet use tracing family trees and puts the odd photo on there.
