Games or office?

Its not really a descent spec ?? If I was getting a descent spec machine I would be going for newer ddr3 ram and better than a 8800gtx for the gpu !!

I bet most of that pc is on-board stuff and the rest is bare minimum ???

No games, as thats what the xbox is for.

Photo and video editing, maybe some CAD work, then the usual internet and office apps plus anything else that takes my interest (maybe some music making stuff too like cubase etc)

not very good price at all, ive just built one for my father in law for £431 inc vat and that included a 20" widescreen tft monitor

what I built was

Intel quad core Q6600
4 GB DDR II @ 800 mhz
Sony NEC dual dvd rewriter (sata)
Onboard 7.1 High def sound (probably the same as what you have seen)
500GB Samsung Sata II HD
20" Widescreen Monitor
Asus Mobo with intel chipset
Gigabyte case (he wanted one that lights up blue like mine he is 64! )
Already had keyboard/mouse etc and he already had his op system

He didnt need a graphics card as I had a 6600gt spare so I gave him that, all he does anyway is office productivity and internet use tracing family trees and puts the odd photo on there.
