Default Anyone use O2 Broadband?

My girlfriend starting working for them this year and gets it a bit cheaper but tbh my work pays for my broadband (well up to £20) anyway so Im not really worried about price.

Less and less impressed with Pipex recently and 02 bought out Be which seem to get great reviews.

I moved over from BT to O2 broadband 6 months ago and BT said I could get up to 3Mb on my line but once I had moved over I am getting between 5.8 and 6.2Mb with a couple of Kb under 1.2Mb upload

I have a contract mobile with them as well so instead of £17.50 they knock £10 off and so its £7.50 a month. Not had any problems with the service and will be staying with them.

Yep, been with O2 since about Feb (when we moved house). So far, I have nothing but praise for them. Initially we were running the router in the study via a temp extension cable from the BT master socket - this was causing the line to drop now and then, unbeknown to me it was the extension. Spent 20 mins on the FREEphone helpline to diagnose the problem, he adjusted settings their end to try and stabalise it and whilst it was much better, we still having problems. We left it at that and moved the router to the master socket and just put up with using the wireless laptop until I could get the 'proper' line into the study. That's worked constantly and consistantly ever since. I just need to call back and the line speed increased again when I've got the extension line sorted.

Would I recommend them or use them again? Definitely. Am I staying with them? Defintely.

F**** brilliant they are.

Just moved over from Virgin ADSL - gone from a slow service with a fair few dropouts to good speed and great service. I also spent time diagnosing faults with extension/master sockets with O2.

Their customer service is fantastic and the broadband a bargain!
