You should try CTF occasionally for a change. I stuck Pete (ptholt)on my server the other day and had a right old larf!.

DM - Look, my ***** must be bigger than yours, as I can kill you 30 times in 5 minutes!
CTF - Look, I can actually frag the $h1t out of people and still have something resembling an objective to achieve.

Probably just my completely biased view on things, but CTF is good fun too for a change.

Unfortunatly, CTF my server runs a lot of voicepacks, models, skins, maps, mutators etc, so download time would be phenomenal, as I have the downloads redirected to a server only on aCable Modem, that can upload data at 15K/S.
The total amount of data needed to be downloaded would be close to 80Mb's, so don't think that's an option. Shame that I don't have major bandwidth available, as the server is a monster

Unfortunatly, CTF seems to decidely be the minority. For instance, Can you remember the last time that anyone commented on CTF on here? Bet money on it that deathmatch will be the weapon of choice....

 

I'll play anything, domination, assault, ctf but would just like to add that if we play a heavily modded ut (like we tried on lee's server once) it actually dillutes the enjoyment (imo) as you have to spend time figurin out what the mods are and what they do etc.

 

I can change it just normal CTF.

Who played? What was it like???

 

Very busy early on - 10 or 12 players.

DM was mad. At times you'd die as soon as you spawned. Proved the benefit of having Power-of-Ping on your side.

No CTF though - boo hiss!

Server was slow and my ping was awful compared to usual.

Still won most
