Lightbulb Worldwide Telescope

Not sure if anyone already has this, but found a great program thats like a 'google maps' version of the stars, from Microsoft of all people (its free as well). Even if you you're not into astronomy its still fascinating, check it out :

As a point of interest, google earth does this now as well. You can just flip the view around from any location on the earth and see what the sky looks like, zoom in on galaxies etc. very cool

Yeh I've seen Google Sky as well, but WWT blows it out of the water, seriously !

It does seem to have higher resolution images than google sky. Another toy to play with when I'm supposed to be working
