Default Anyone familar with IBM xSerise 225?

I'm having problems getting it to recognise a second CPU.

I can't see any obvious place where I need to install a voltage regulator?

Am I missing something obvious?

Hi there,

We have some of those at work, which model is yours ?

I can ask my guys about CPU upgrades. In the mean time look here:

IBM Support - Hardware Maintenance Manual - IBM eServer xSeries 225 (Type 8649)

IBM Support - Hardware Maintenance Manual and Troubleshooting Guide - IBM eServer xSeries 225 (Type 8647)

Cheers,

K.

sorted it.

Figured I wasn't missing out on anything stupid. . .

Reseated both processors and it's fine now.

Thanks for the reply
