A common problem but I don't know the solution. I have a huge amount of "live" (ahem) music on minidisc and I want to put it onto CD-A. Is there a quick way of doin this directly or do I have to record to the hard disc then burn to the CD?

I read somewhere (perhaps here) that Sony didn't like the idea of MD going to CD and therefore wern't releasing the relevant software codes or something. As you can tell I really know nothing about this!!

Anyhow all help will be gratefully received.

Thanks

Rob.

Mini disc has a copy protection built in that only allows you to copy digital to digital once. For example if you copy a CD to mini disc using a digital cable you cant then copy from mini disc to mini disc or mini disc to CD (Digitally). You should be able to copy to CD using standard phono leads.
