Default Netgear Grrr !

Got myself a Netgear SC101T and a 500 Gb drive to back up our three PC's... (all running Vista).

Stupidly left it sat a while, now I fire it up and the CD only has XP or previous versions of the back-up software.

Went to their web-site, but I couldn't find any Vista up-grade for it !

Now left with a very expensive paper-weight !

Anybody smart know what I'm missing ?

Can't do a normal back-up as it appears as a SAN device ? ?

Cheers,

Duncan

P.S. CCL Online strike again, with Netgear's help !

I think the first mistake you made was buying a SC101, from what I've read their crap. I'd take it back to the shop you bought it and buy something decent.

Take it back and exchange it for something different - they're a complete pile of junk, and I'm speaking from experience.

It makes a good paperweight/door stop.

Other than that it's useless*

*not strictly true - could be used as a foot warmer for cold nights
