I want a decent car game for my PS3 but don't want to buy the GT5 Prologe because i don't want to play it till the full game is released, plus i think it's a clever marketing rip off ! My mate has been going on about how good F1 is, and it's only 20 quid on Amazon, but it was released close to the launch of the PS3, is it any good basicly and worth splashing 20 quid on ?

I've read that Polyphony are developing an F1 game for the PS3.

I would think they are concentrating on getting GT5 out first though.

I got it the other day cheap (£10 2nd hand from amazon), and it arrived the same day as GT5 Prologue. I've been playing the F1 game a lot, and hardly touch GT5 now.

It's not perfect, but if you turn the driving aids off and are willing to put the time in learning the tracks, it's surprisingly good fun (and it's got damage ). It doesn't take hours to install or use half your hard disc like GT5 either.

I bought it last night and also pre-ordered GTA while i was there, GTA best turn up on the 29th or there will be trouble !!
