Best budget wireless router

im after a decent wireless router, but don't wanna spend a fortune.

the main computer i have is used for gaming, but it'll be wired (right next to connection), the wirless is for my GF laptop, which is only ocasionaly used.

whats the best cheap router out there for use with NTL/Virgin?

thinkin about using the normal modem and just using the router as a network switch, is this an option?

From: alternate between home and work

got a lynksys for NTL/Virgin easy to install works great, bought off fleabay £33 + P&P

Should be in the pooter sections but ...... the 'cheapo' ones have overheating problems and give up the ghost eventually. I'm going for a Draytek - more expensive but better quality etc etc
